I've been having a blast reading Hulk since the beginning of the recent "Planet Hulk" arc. If you haven't checked it out, maybe this trailer by writer Greg Pak might convince you:

A friend of mine at work is one of the founders of the Breaking Point Dance Company. Worth watching is their recent appearance on "Showtime at the Apollo".

My iPod died a few months ago. After waiting out the mourning period, followed by the similarly prerequisite "I better wait in case Apple releases a neat new model" period, I finally bit the bullet and bought a new 5G video iPod yesterday so that I'd be ready to hit the road for convention season this week.

Looking for a way to get video content I already have onto my iPod, I found the brilliant Videora Converter, a reasonably simple to use program.

I now have the first season of Max Headroom on my iPod, and officially live 20 minutes in the future.

This morning, the movie Twister was on cable. Poking around on the web while watching the movie, I was surprised to discover that the official Twister website is still on the web. Gotta love the non-Flash, few-images, lotsa-text, dialup-ready, mid-90s presentation. (As a point of reference, compare it to the website for this summer's disaster movie from Warner Brothers, Poseidon.)

Sure, you know Jack and the Beanstalk and the Three Little Pigs, but do you know Kate Crackernuts and the Well of the World's End? Find them and more at the online book of English Fairy Tales.
