Cloud may be the most beautiful game I've ever played. Certainly it's the most soothing (except when they get some harsh reality in your fantasy and remind you that you're dying of cancer.)

I've been awfully tolerant for a long time, but it's looking like upwards of 30% of my bandwidth these days is image-leeching from the OD Image Archive, and one-third of that is from Myspace. I can only expect that will get worse, so I think it's time to start looking into anti-leech measures.
Jane Jacobs is dead. Her book The Death and Life of Great American Cities changed the way I look at and think about cities. I recommend it highly.
