Thanks to Jason, who pointed me toward a review of the new Blues Brothers DVD that also includes three music tracks cut (in whole or in part) from the film! Internet Protocol requires me to suggest that you actually read the review (and if you haven't been convinced to buy next week's DVD yet, you should read it), or you could just grab the tracks.

Hello, friends. Perhaps you might check out the fine music of the Voodoo Trombone Quartet. A sample track and a ready-to-remix acapella vocal are available for download on their website. Enjoy.

Want to do a remix of the Beastie Boys? Of course you have the Beasties' blessing--but now they'll give you their acapellas too. Pretty cool. (via Digg)

pictureBeauty blooms in dark corners of the Internet: over on a law school admissions forum, a poster named egg has been putting up links to portraits he's created using the MS Paint-like artpad. All of them are cool, and all feature Robocop. Wait; that may be redundant.

Check out the portraits for yourself. Note that all titles are the artist's. You can either watch as the pieces are painted (do it for at least a couple; the techniques are pretty astonishing at times), or you can use the "Skip to End" button to just see the finished piece:
