Reccommendo comes through again, with a link to PublicRadioFan, a directory of public radio programming and streams from across the country. I may finally be able to start listening to Says You again, now that I have several dozen chances rather than just one.

pictureWow. In just under a month, the Goons over at Something Awful have put together GBS-TV, a user-controlled television stream--their own Net public access station. As of yet most people will have to jump through some hoops to even check it out, let alone participate (despite some kickass tutorials), but I remain in awe of what a collective can do when it focuses its effort and enthusiasm. Smart mobs, indeed.

Quite possibly the strangest commerical ever (via Waxy.)

So I've been using the Wikipedia a lot lately, and I've even started to contribute a bit. Today I finally started stretching my wings beyond subjects I know initmately and personally. You can help me, if you like, as I work on the entry for the Cairo Electric Railways & Heliopolis Oases Company.

If you want to be a freegan, great (via Memepool.) But here's what piqued my ire:

"Because so much is trashed in our society, a freegan lifestyle can be one of great abundance -- food, books, magazines, comic books, newspapers, videos, music (CDs, cassettes, records, etc.), carpets...

Who's throwing away comic books?!

I want names.

pictureTime to break out your Voight-Kampff machine and start testing your friends, family, and coworkers. You never know who might be a robot out to eat your medicine. (via Trabbold.)

Whatever happened to the Ultraverse? Lying in the Gutters has the latest.

(If you have a minute, go over to LitG and send Rich an email this week encouraging him to continue writing these kinds of articles rather than returning to rumor-mongering.)

The first screenshots I've seen for SSX On Tour, the next installment in one of my favorite console game series.
