I remember seeing this as a kid: Buddy Rich in a drummers' duel with Animal on the Muppet Show (via Incoming Signals.)

pictureVia the HCRealms forums, the 12 Pixel Heroes Test--see whether you can identify the costumes of superheroes when they are reduced to only twelve pixels. I managed a perfect score, but admittedly made one guess.

Updated to add the 48 Pixel Heroine Test.

WARNING: Meme ahead
Rather than blindly propegate a viral marketing campaign, I now give you the opportunity to skip this post.

You have been warned.
------------------------

Yesterday, Kotaku announced a suspected viral marketing game from Audi. It seemed interesting enough, and the entry points had the same style and feel as I Love Bees and my beloved Beast. Now I've spotted two separate Blogads on Metafilter related to the game, one to the Last Resort Retrieval site and one to the site of "Vigil Tatum"/

Looks like the game--called "Heist" by the players--is moving toward critical mass. A Trail has been established, and the game is afoot.

(I wonder if this is another product of the folks over at 4orty 2wo? I'll have to ask.

UPDATE: Confirmed that it is not them; over on the QT3 Forums, they use WHOIS evidence to point to GMD as the new (lower-case until they earn otherwise) puppetmasters.)

DJ Format and Abdominal have a fantastic new video, which would seem to imply that the track has been released somewhere*. Which makes me even more irked that Music for the Mature B-Boy still hasn't had a US release. Perhaps somewhere among the legions of OD readers is a record executive who could make this happen? Thanks.

*UPDATE: Yeah, there's a new album, and we haven't even seen the first one. Sigh.

You may know how to write a book, but do you know how to write a proposal? It may, in fact, be more important (via Galleycat.)
