Paul Dini reports:

"I did an on camera interview with Bruce, David (Jimmy Olsen) Kaufman, Glen Murakami and Alan Burnett last night for the next (and last) SUPERMAN DVD set. Afterwards we went to dinner where Glen confirmed the end of TITANS, and Bruce said pretty much the same about JLU..."

Sigh.

Comments:
I thought you didn't care for the animated Teen Titans? JLU was OK, but as it kept introducing characters it was hard to get the interplay between team members that had made the JLA program fun.

Still, sad to hear that they're going off the air.

I'm not a huge fan of the hyperdeformation/hyperkinetic anime influence on Teen Titans GO!, but I'm an enormous fan of the characters--so my complaints are really more along the lines of "these are not my fanboy dreams" rather than "I wish this didn't exist."

As for JLU, I think the relationship building was slower and more subtle--which made it more interesting, in my opinion. It did reward (and nearly require) viewing of the episodes in order and without missing any, though.

Damn. I really like titans, and I think it was getting better as it went on. *sigh*
