SOunds like a super hero origin waiting to happen.

Jake was a New York session musician asked to sit in on a concert in Madison, Wi. The concert, in celebration of an ancient, recently discover mineral sample, set up strange reverberations in the crystal.

As Jake's music played the crystal glowed brighter and brighter.

Jake wandered over to the unattended display during a break. As he leaned over the microscope to look at the crystal it unleashed it's power directly into his optic nerves.

Now he has the power to harness sound into powerful bolts of cosmic energy! Even humming a simple tune allows him enough energy to fly and create protective force fields.
