"At approximately 4:00pm GKB of Richmond was hiking with her leashed dog. Approximately 1/4 mile from the trailhead 10-15 cattle and several calves were blocking the trail she was following. To avoid disturbing the cattle, she walked quietly and slowly and began to move around and away from the cattle while keeping her dog "heeled" and leashed. The dog did not bark or growl at the cattle as she walked around them. As she got by them one cow started to charge her and several others followed. It's Jason's fault that I was suddenly compelled to search out online tales of cow attacks. (Note that these wild beasts are not to be confused with the upgraded and urbane Spycow.)
