According to the White House web site, Flat Stanley has been given Top Secret security clearance (via PCJM). Given this newfound openness to the Ficto-American community, perhaps Babar could replace Ari Fleischer--it should be noted that his adventures are already part of the Combined Arms Research Library at Fort Leavenworth. Uh, Babar that is, though I have no doubt that Mr. Fleischer has had adventures. Perhaps he will write about them in his book.

And because I enjoy jabbing at sloppy copywriting: Instead she reminded Stanley to tell all children to study and listen to their parents. Implying that she had no interest in what occurred at the meeting, which seems a bit odd. Not to mention that it shows no respect for Stanley's willingness to bring her up to speed, regardless of whether or not he was requested to substitute for her in the first place.
