My counter's been on the fritz for a few days, and I finally took a few minutes to look into the problem. On the FAQ I found the answer to my question:


Q: The counter has stopped showing up on my site and I'm seeing a broken link. The statistics reports for the account are still tracking visitors but all the charts don't display. Whats wrong?
A: You have probably installed something called "SuperTrick" or "Kazza Lite" on your computer. It has put a text file on your computer called "HOSTS". Search for the "HOSTS" file (it doesn't have an extension). To fix the problem, remove any lines that have "sitemeter.com" on them.

Okay, good call, and it seems to have fixed the problem. But then they keep going:

You may want to go ahead to delete the entire file because it may causing you problems accessing other sites.
