"Your book is printed on very white, shiny paper." That's the nicest thing the reviewer for the Washington Post had to say to the author of Great American Parade, a retired UW prof. And that was at the end. His opening salvo: "in my professional judgment, (your book is) the worst novel ever published in the English language." Read and laugh along with the whole interview.
