People don't believe me when I tell them that in Mir's last days the Russian Space Agency had to buy spare parts from Mr. Wisconsin Dells, Tommy Bartlett. Well now it appears that NASA is doing much the same thing, trolling eBay for space shuttle parts (NYTimes link; requries free registration.)
Also available on eBay, ancient Sumerian tablets, cheap! (link from Metafilter).
